Terms & Functions
Wounds
The Max Strength for CCG is 20 and CCG gets wounds faster. You know you got one when you see the texts pop up:
- “Something doesn’t feel right. It hurts. It hurts so bad.”
- “Why am I doing this? What is this feeling. It hurts.”
You can get wounds by taking on hits. The more the better. Keep doing this until you can see a red circle around your body when you try to do some actions.
You shouldn’t be able to run at max wounds. Then, buy bandages and you can repeat this until you max out.

Lives
You can get lives by using books earned via Permanent Death Events (PDS) and conquests. Do not run out of lives as it’ll reset your progress.
You will retain your race. You know how many lives you have from the color:
- Purple for 1
- Orange for 2
- Red for 3
World Events & Books
The World Events are some of the main ways you’re going to grind for vital items such as books.
World Events start only when the server has enough people to start either a Permanent Death Event or Conquest.
Books grant you Armor, Life Restore, or if you have bad luck, nothing.
- Conquest: Secure the construction site for your race.
- Permanent Death Event: Survive until the end to win the rewards. Signaled by the loud fireworks.
Quinque
To get a Quinque, use an empty briefcase on a knocked ghoul. The Quinque tier differs similarly to a ghoul’s Kagune.
Here are what you can get from casing which tier of ghoul:
- Tier 1 Ghouls (including ghouls without Kagune): Daggers, Katana, Doujima
- Tier 2 Ghouls: Demon Yamada, Terra, Jason (and possibly tier 1 Quinque)
Locations
Anteiku (Trainer, beginner cash quests)
Anteiku is where you should go when you first spawn into the map. Head to the building that has a black icon that reads “Anteiku.”
This is where you can get the first few beginner quests to make money.
Inside Anteiku is also where you should find the Mask Shop NPC. He’s standing in the far end corner of the cafe.
Aogiri Base (Kagune Reroll)
The Aogiri Base is just beyond the Trinket Farming location, beyond the wooden door. You can find the Kagune Reroll NPC, called Uta the Critiquer.
You can also find the Doctor NPC who sells medical supplies for healing. Once you’re done here, just leave by talking to the NPC across the doctor.
Ghoul Trainer
The first Ghoul Trainer is in the cafe with the Prodigy Base. Leave the cafe and go straight down from the park and turn left. Then turn right, and then turn left once more.
To your right, notice an NPC hanging from the railing of his terrace of the building in the corner. That’s Ichimi Kirishima, another trainer.
For Butcher Class Trainer, head into this building on the second floor (refer to image below). It is to the right from the arena location if you look at it from the park across.
The Super Trainer is in the Subway, an NPC sitting on the floor.
CCG NPCs
Down on the first loot is the Case Seller NPC – he’s in the corner and sells it at 500 dollars each. Signing up for CCG is pretty obvious the moment you walk in as he’s just standing at the front desk.
For CCGs, most of the trainer NPCs are on the third floor of the building.
From the 2nd floor, climb up to the third floor to find the:
- Prodigy Base trainer
- Medic Base trainer
- Medic Super trainer
- Super Prodigy trainer
Clothing & Camera NPCs
The clothing NPC area is hard to miss as it’s majorly decorated with clothesline. Once you see clothes hanging from what should be phone and power lines, you’re close.
Just look for a building with this banner and you can browse for clothing to buy inside. Behind the building is an NPC that sells camera for 150 yen.
Gun NPC
Gun NPC is hiding behind a trash can just a few steps away from the bridge where the Ghoul quest NPC is.
Quests
Beginner Quests (Floor cleaning, Parcel Delivery, Purple Body)
The beginner quests can be found in Anteiku, a cafe in Tokyo. Just speak to the NPCs who will assign you one easy floor cleaning quest (Yuki Hoshizume).
The other one will ask you to deliver a parcel to the Subway Area (Muuna Katsumaru).
The latter you just need to speak to the NPC surrounded by the parcels – which is just down the road to the left when you leave the cafe.
Keep running down the same road past the subway here to meet Haruki Nakamura NPC. Talk to her to start the Purple Body quest which is just across the street on the opposite side.
Do grip animation and then click to retrieve the body.
Obtaining Kagune & Ghoul Classes
To get a Kagune, you must eat 15 NPCs. Once you do that, you start aiming for tier-2 of Kagune which requires about 2k of RC.
You get 5 RC from eating NPCs and 10 from eating ghoul players. Remember to also grind for Strength stat.
Finally, for tier-3 of Kagune or Kakuja, you need about 15k RC. Once you get them, talk to the mod who can check if you have enough RC. If you have, they will grant you the tier-3 power.
Trinket Farming
Trinket Farming is easy. Just find these small trinkets inside the sewer area that leads to the Aogiri Base to be sold.
Some of them are gold and worth a lot.
Half-Human (HH) & One-Eyed Ghoul (OEG) Quests
Players must grind for rep and XPs via doing conquests to gain ranks. Grinding rep is easy as you just need to spam any quest that give them, like the Purple Body quest.
Strength can be grinded by getting Wounds which was previously covered in the “Terms & Functions” section of the guide.
Ghoul Quest
The Ghoul quest is a quest you can get from an NPC sitting on the bridge. A CCG player can talk to her and finish the quest for Rep. XPs, and 1000 dollars.
