Trivia[]

During their interviews to promote Space Jam: A New Legacy in 2021, Jeff Bergman and Candi Milo both confirmed that they would be returning to voice their Looney Tunes characters in the series. While Jeff Bergman will be voicing Bugs, Foghorn and Sylvester, Candi Milo will only voice Granny and not reprise her role as Sweetie.

The series was originally planned for a 2021 release, but because storyboarding started in late spring of that year the series was given a 2022 release date, however likely due to the merger of Warner Bros and Discovery, the series was given a 2023 release date.

The series was originally planned to be released on HBO Max the day after it's premiere on Cartoon Network, however Warner Bros Discovery announced on April 12, 2023 that HBO Max will be re-branded to Max on May 23, 2023. The series will be available to stream Max and will premiere on Cartoon Network the day after in September 2023.

On April 19, 2023 the website Comicbook released an article with a list of confirmed cast members alongside a teaser trailer for the series. The article also confirmed that Danny Cooksey will return to voice Montana Max making him the third returning cast member from the original series alongside Jeff Bergman and Candi Milo. The teaser trailer was officially released by Cartoon Network on April 20, 2023. The final trailer was officially released on August 18, 2023.

Controversy[]

The series has come under fire from fans of the original, due to the fact that Buster and Babs have been rewritten as siblings instead of being boyfriend and girlfriend, respectively, as they were in the original Tiny Toon Adventures; showrunner Erin Gibson clarified that this was done in order to explore a "symbolic, collaborative, and supportive" brother/sister relationship. Also, Charlie Adler and Maurice LaMarche were not approached to reprise their respective roles as Buster and Dizzy; and, although Elmyra's voice actress, Cree Summer, said that she was informed that the character wouldn't appear in the new series, in July 2022, a Looney Tunes panel at San Diego Comic-Con revealed that a piece of concept art showed Elmyra would indeed appear in it, leading to rumors that Elmyra will be recast.
