How do I see answered questions on IXL? ›

Scroll down to find the IXL accomplishments section. Here, you'll see an overview of the student's IXL usage (questions answered, time spent, skills practiced) and a breakdown of math and ELA skills they've worked on. Pro Tip: Hover over the pie chart to see how many skills have been practiced in each strand!

For high schoolers who want to rely less on help from adults, IXL enables them to learn independently. Students can sit in the driver's seat and propel their own learning forward with IXL's easy-to-use instructional resources!

Kids have answered over 140 billion questions on IXL. IXL puts students in the driver's seat of their education with a personalized dashboard and resources for independent learning. IXL's workbooks have ranked in the top 200 bestselling books of all time and in the top 10 bestselling kids and teen math workbooks.

1,800+ 9th-12th grade math and ELA skills

These high school math skills provide full coverage for: Algebra 1. Geometry.

Students will need to answer as many as 10 questions correctly in a row to achieve mastery. For most skills on IXL, students will have to complete a minimum of 28 questions to earn a SmartScore of 100.

Grade level guide: 100 = 1st grade, 200 = 2nd grade, 300 = 3rd grade, 400 - 4th grade, 500 = 5th grade, 600 = 6th grade, 700 = 7th grade, 800 = 8th grade, and 900 = 9th grade. By clicking on the IXL image above or the word IXL, students will be forwarded to the log in page.

Limited Engagement: One major drawback of IXL is its emphasis on repetitive practice rather than fostering deep understanding. The program often focuses on isolated skills without providing real-world context or opportunities for critical thinking.

Overall, I think IXL is just a big stress-machine, something that students don't need, especially middle and high school students, where IXL is most used. Others may argue that IXL is great, and that if a kid is stuck on a problem it will give them tips (the tips only appear once they get a question wrong..

Using the Skill Analysis report

In the skill overview section, you'll find a snapshot of the skill you've chosen. This snapshot includes the current status of every student and whole-class usage (questions answered, time spent).

Click the Reports tab. Sign in to your IXL account at www.ixl.com. IXL reports offer a winning combination of interactive data, powerful analytics, and easy-to-read graphs. Once your students have started practicing with IXL, the reports in your teacher account will automatically update with real-time data!

Using the Student Progress report

After selecting a student, the report will display one row for every skill that they've practiced. Skills are organized by subject, grade level, and category. For each skill, you can see how much time the student has spent and how many questions the student has answered.

Student Score Chart:

This report allows you to view a single student's progress across all skills. For each skill, you'll see the student's SmartScore, questions answered, time spent, and date of their last practice session.
